When do you need a Stone Grind??
Once a year or when you have trashed your skis.
After base repairs.
When your skis become convex or concave.
New skis need to be checked for flatness and often require grinding.
When do you need an Edge Sharpen??
Once a year
After grooming the rocks at Thredbo etc.
You can change the performance of the ski with changes to edge and base angles.
When do you need a Base Overmould??
When the soles have multiple deep gouges.
When the skis become hollow or concave.
When small hand repairs become impractical.
When do you need a Wax??
Every day for maximum performance.
When new and at the end of the season to prevent soles from drying out.
After base repairs.
