Autosocks

Autosocks are a fabric snow chain equivalent which use friction to create grip in snow and ice conditions. Autosocks are recommended by most leading car manufacturers for use with electronic safety systems. They are suitable for use on vehicles with low clearance behind wheel.
Conditions of Hire :Autosocks are available for hire on the condition that if they are returned damaged then the customer buys the Autosocks at full retail price. Autosocks will be hired only to cars which cannot fit chains.
2WD Vehicles :If you have no option other than Autosocks on your 2WD we recommend you consider skiing at Thredbo or Mt Selwyn. The RTA has fined 2WD vehicles carrying autosocks on the road to Perisher. This is the only road to a resort which is covered by the current legislation. Village Ski accepts no responsibility for any fines incurred on the road to Perisher however we would be interested in opposing a fine in court.
