The colour tag on each garment takes precedence over the size printed inside the label. Use the colour to identify the size. Some items are unisex; some are women-specific.

XS — Beige
S — Purple
M — Red
L — Green
XL — Dark Blue
2XL — Brown
3XL — Dark Blue
4XL — Burgundy
5XL — Dark Blue
9XL — Beige
2 — Bright Green
4 — Purple
6 — Aqua
8 — Beige
10 — Yellow
12 — Blue
14 — Orange
If a ladies garment has no colour tag, use the dress size: 8=XS · 10=S · 12=M · 14=L
1
Use colour tag first
Always go by the colour tag — not the label inside. The colour system takes precedence.
2
Put clothing on the rack in the correct size
Jackets and pants must be sorted and hung in size order. Keep sizes together.
⚠️ These jackets must not go into the main clothing area. Keep them in the back room at all times.

We have a selection of higher-quality jackets kept separately in the back room. These are reserved for customers hiring for 2 or more days who will actually be skiing in mountain conditions.

Our dominant customer is a day-tripper on a Fun Pack. If these performance jackets go out in Fun Packs constantly, they get over-washed and their waterproofing degrades. We keep them aside to protect the DWR treatment for people who genuinely need it up the mountain.

See the Washing machine page for the full washing and drying process — accessible from the nav bar above.
⚠️ Customers in store always take priority over filling retail. Retail tasks are for quiet moments — never leave a customer unattended to fill shelves.
1
Keep retail filled, tidy and clean
Shelves and racks should look full and well-presented at all times.
2
Dust the sunglasses
Sunglasses attract dust — wipe them down regularly.
3
Keep $25 gloves fully stocked
The $25 glove rack should always be full — check and top up regularly.

Take the time to learn where stock is kept — it's in several locations:

GogglesUnderneath the goggle display area
Gloves & beaniesUnder retail display · above rental clothing · back room · boxes above ski racks
1
Scan the barcode
Always check the price before putting up stock you're not familiar with — scan the barcode first.
2
If no price comes up
Check with Jude or Bowen before putting it on display.
3
Add a price tag
Always attach a price tag to new stock before displaying it.

1
Find the boot sole length
Check in millimetres — usually printed on the side or heel of the boot.
2
Adjust the toe piece
Unlock the lever, slide until the marker lines up with the boot sole length. Lock in place.
3
Adjust the heel piece
Lift lever, slide to match sole length. Place toe in toe piece, snap heel down. Boot should be held firmly with no significant movement.
4
Check forward pressure indicator
Must be in the safe zone — a mark within a range or window on the heel piece. Adjust if needed.
5
Check and set the DIN
Use the DIN app, or use the scales if the customer is in store.
